<h2>Greenbrier County Special Olympics announces the following fundraisers for January:<\/h2>\r\n\u2022 Friday, Jan. 17 and Friday, Jan. 31, Pizza Hut, 297 Seneca Trail in Fairlea, will give 20 percent of receipts with a flyer to Greenbrier County Special Olympics. Fliers may be picked up at Jim\u2019s Drive-In on Rt. 60 West in Lewisburg, and Hair Fantastic in Fairlea. Supporters may also contact John Miller, Jr. at 304-646-0579 or Linda Weikle at 304-645-0058 to obtain a flyer.\r\n\r\n\u2022 Saturday, Jan. 18, 8-10 a.m., Pancake Breakfast at the Lewisburg Applebees, 200 Piercy Drive. Tickets are $5 and are available from Special Olympics members and at the door. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage and a drink. The breakfast is eat-in only; no carry-outs. Please note that the time printed on the tickets is not correct.\r\n\r\nDirect donations may be made by check to \u201cGreenbrier County Special Olympics\u201d and mailed to Tamera Fraley, director, Greenbrier County Special Olympics, 14 Drewery Avenue, White Sulphur Springs, WV 24986. The funds raised at this event will go towards the registration fees for the state Basketball and Cheerleading competitions in March. It costs about $2,000 for each tournament that athletes and volunteers attend. We appreciate the support of the community!\r\n\r\nGreenbrier County Special Olympics is a nonprofit organization that uses its funds to purchase T-shirts\/uniforms, pay registration fees for state events, and other fees as needed for its athletes. Special Olympics offers children and adults with intellectual disabilities comprehensive year-round training and competition in Olympic-type sports. It is open to all people with intellectual disabilities who are at least 8 years old, regardless of the degree of their disability.
