Greenbrier County Schools (GCS) will host Pre-K & Kindergarten registration on two dates and locations for children who will be four years old before July 1, 2024, for preschool and five years old before July 1, 2024, for kindergarten. Students currently enrolled in a GCS Pre-K program are automatically enrolled in kindergarten in their home school district; therefore, parents of GCS Pre-K students will not need to attend a registration session.
- Tuesday, Mar. 12: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., BOE Office at 197 Chestnut Street, Lewisburg
- Wednesday, Mar. 13: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Rupert Elementary School, 190 Crimson Tide Way, Crawley
Enrollment Basics:

Pre-K Enrollees:
Greenbrier County Schools conducts ongoing enrollment for the Universal Pre-K program. The following documentation will be needed:
- State-issued birth certificate (not a copy)
- Immunization record
- Social Security card
- Two proofs of residency
- Copy of Health Check Exam (4-year physical from a physician)
- Copy of most recent Dental Exam
- Two proofs of residency
- Proof of 2021 income (W-2s or Tax Return)
- Insurance card
- Relevant custody order, if applicable
- PreK parents must complete the online application
