Carnegie Hall’s January/February Artwalk Exhibits are underway with three galleries featuring the works of regional artists. The Old Stone Room Gallery features the Greenbrier Artists.
The Greenbrier Artists is a collective that has been a creative force in the Greenbrier Valley for more than 50 years. Formed in 1974 by a small group of painters who simply wanted to gather, share ideas, and grow together, the group has evolved into a vibrant community of artists who meet every Thursday in the Kellar Art Studio at Carnegie Hall to paint, learn, and support one another.
Their long tradition of collaboration has produced decades of exhibitions, including their first group show in 1984 and a special 50th anniversary celebration in 2024.
Featuring a wide range of styles and mediums, the Greenbrier Artists continue to embody the spirit of creativity and camaraderie that has defined them since their founding. The Old Stone Room exhibit offers visitors a chance to experience the depth, history, and ongoing vitality of one of the region’s most enduring artistic communities.
Greenbrier Artists Members included in the exhibit are Jeanne Brenneman, Phyllis Crickenberger, Brenja Doane, Kim Jones, Judie Lewis, Marietta Lyall, Peggy McKenzie, Shari O’Day, Schyler Olt, MJ Oref, Shelby Oreolt, Lynn Quillen, Lillian Posselt, Becky Romine, Judith Shellnut, Patricia Stine, Anne Tamea, and John Telisko.
The Old Stone Room is located on the ground floor of Carnegie Hall. The exhibit runs through the end of December.

Carnegie Hall programs are presented with financial assistance through a grant from the West Virginia Department of Tourism and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts.
