The Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce is once again preparing for their biggest event of the year – MEGA Business and Market Showplace, which will be held this year on Nov. 13 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the West Virginia State Fair. Already, there are more than 50 businesses registered to be a part of this exciting event, and registration is still open. There are a few changes in store for this year’s event, ensuring that every business and person who enters the doors will have an exciting and rewarding time.

For every person who plans to participate in the Chamber’s five $100 cash drawing give-aways, each person must have the card that they are given when they enter the building filled with stickers from the businesses that are highlighted on that card. This means that you have to visit every business that is listed on the card, and this is the only way to be eligible for the cash drawings. Cash drawing sponsors so far are Seneca Trail Animal Hospital, High Rocks, New World Alterations, Greenbrier Valley Medical Arts Pharmacy, Greenbrier Valley Fitness and County Inn and Suites in Beckley. Sponsorship opportunities are still available.

The Silent Auction is always a big draw at this annual event, and many businesses have already contributed. Proceeds from are used by the Chamber for community outreach throughout the Greenbrier Valley. Business that have currently donated items to the Silent Auction are: Alcova Mortgage, Coldwell Banker, Gillespie’s, Greenbrier Medical Arts Pharmacy, Greenbrier Valley Fitness, Greenbrier Valley Theatre, J.E. Schenk & Associates, Lewisburg Diamond and Gold, Liberty Tax, Seneca Trail Animal Hospital, Summit Community Bank, West Virginia Osteopathic Medicine and The Inn at Mountain Quest.

Main sponsors for the event are Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, nTelos, Gillespie’s, WV Daily News, Mountain Messenger and LB Spy.

For more information on sponsorship or to register for MEGA Business, please contact Amber McHale, executive director at 304-645-2818 or director@greenbrierwvchamber.org.
