Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce gearing up for MEGA Business and Silent Auction he Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce is once again preparing for their biggest event of the year – MEGA Business and Market Showplace, which will be held this year on Nov. 5 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the West Virginia State Fair. Registration is now open, and businesses can register online by visiting www.greenbrierwvchamber.org. There are a few changes in store for this year’s event, ensuring that every business and person who enters the doors will have an exciting and rewarding time.
For every person who plans to participate in the Chamber’s five $100 cash drawing give-aways, each person must have the card that they are given when they enter the building filled with stickers from the businesses that are highlighted on that card. This means that you have to visit every business that is listed on the card, and this is the only way to be eligible for the cash drawings. Cash drawing sponsors are now being sought, so if you participated last year as a cash drawing sponsor, please call the Chamber office to reserve your space for this year. Main sponsorship opportunities are still available. So far, the main sponsor for this year’s event is Gillespie’s Flowers. Please call the Chamber office if you are interested in becoming a main sponsor, where you will have premier booth space for the over 1,000 people who will enter the doors.
The Silent Auction is always a big draw at this annual event, and many businesses have already begun contributing. Proceeds are used by the Chamber for community outreach throughout the Greenbrier Valley. Donating an item to the silent auction is a great way to showcase your business, where you can also put cards and brochures out for the public.
For more information on sponsorship or to register for MEGA Business, please contact Amber McHale, executive director at 304-645-2818 or director@greenbrierwvchamber.org.
