White Sulphur Springs-Gloria G. Glover, 73, passed away Sunday, Apr. 25, 2021, at her home with her family by her side.
Gloria was born Aug. 26, 1947, in White Sulphur Springs, the daughter of the late Rosco and Martha Jarvis Plumley.
She had been a receptionist for Dr. Nancy Collins. Gloria had worked for Daisy’s and had catered for the White Sulphur Springs Rotary Club. She was a wonderful cook and an avid bingo player. “Yes G52 was called.”
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Buck Plumley.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, Nickie C. Glover; daughter, Pamela Feury and husband Gary of White Sulphur Springs; son, Nickie W. Glover of White Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Ryan Lockhart and wife Elizabeth of White Sulphur Springs, Aaron Lockhart and girlfriend Taylor Dahl of Denver, CO; great-granddaughter, Lennon Lockhart; sisters, Gladys “Penny” Fitzpatrick of Hinton and Sharon Napier “Cookie” and husband John of Lewisburg; brother, Randy Plumley and wife JoAnn of Beckley; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Gloria will be held Saturday, May 1, at 7 p.m. at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs with Pastor Frank Naglic officiating. The family will receive their family and friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
