The Greenbrier East Golf Team played its first match of the season at the Lewisburg Elk’s Club, front 9 par 34.
GEHS scores were: Colin Wiley 33 (Medalist), Philip Zambos 36, Norris Beard 36, Gavin Ray 37, Dwain Sheppard 37, Kyle Ballard 40, Berkley Adwell 42, Ryan Nuckoles 42, Josh White 46, David Hofmann 46, Brett Napier 46, Jensen Brown 47, Steele Hall 48, and Carter Elliott 54.
Greenbrier West scores were: Thomas Vestal 39, Ethan O’Dell 43, Lucas Smith 44, and Dakota Parker 45.
Richwood’s scores were Caleb Hanna 49 and Dalton Bailey 52.
Summers County’s scores were Ashton Bennett 39, Jamison Hamm 41, Sam Wykle 44, and Nathan Wykle 50.
The GEHS team took four players to Briar Patch in Beckley to play against several schools on Wednesday, Aug. 16, and the entire team played at Greenbrier Hills Golf Club in Rainelle against Greenbrier West on Thursday, Aug. 17.
