Gaia Wilmer, a student at Alderson Elementary School, achieved an outstanding victory at the West Virginia State Archery Championship held in Charleston on Saturday, Mar. 28.
Gaia secured a first-place finish with an impressive score of 284 out of a possible 300, demonstrating exceptional skill and precision in the competition. This remarkable performance further solidifies Gaia’s standing as one of the top young archers in the country.
In addition to winning the state championship title, Gaia is currently ranked #3 nationally.
