The annual fundraising auction for the Museum in Williamsburg will be held on Aug. 29 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., or later.
Items are being requested now as donations to auction off. Call for pickup, or drop-off information at 304-645-2153 or 304-645-2238.
Furniture, appliances, home decorating, “new stuff or old stuff” – everything is appreciated and new homes will be found for all!
Williamsburg Museum is operated by the Williamsburg District Historical Foundation as an educational and preservation source for Williamsburg, Trout, Friars Hill, Cornstalk, Hugghart, and all the area in the historic Sinking Creek Valley. The auction, held the last Saturday in August, is an annual fundraiser for operating the Museum.
Concessions of hot dogs, ice cream, cold drinks and more will be available – so make a fun trip of it and tour the museum while there!
Located in Williamsburg, Greenbrier County, the Museum is on County Rt. 17 (Williamsburg Road) about ¾ mile from the downtown. From I-64, take the Alta Exit and follow Sinking Creek Road to Williamsburg. From Frankford (Rt. 219), follow Williamsburg Road for about 8 miles and the Museum will be on the left as you enter the town.
