Monroe County’s CSA is now even better, featuring the best available fruits, veggies, eggs and now also offering optional add on packages for meats and breads.
The CSA, through the Monroe Farm Market, will feature fresh fruit, vegetables, berries, eggs and popcorn.
Delivery/pick up will be on Thursdays: 3-3:30 p.m. at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center front parking lot (limited to 40 customers); 4:30-5 p.m. at Lee Street parking lot/Lewisburg ball park across from WVSOM (limited to 40) Personal home/office delivery (limited to 20).
The fall CSA term is August through November, normally on a weekly basis for a total of 10 packages. There will be some weeks without a delivery and the market manager will notify every one of those weeks. Cost of membership (10 packages) is $350 (personal home/office delivery), with an early bird discount ($325) if paid prior to Aug. 1; $275 (GVMC or WVSOM pick up), with an early bird discount ($250) if paid prior to Aug. 1.
Prices are for fruit/veggie/egg package only and do not include meat or bread add on. Package size is three-five products.
