Flood victims’ names released

White Sulphur Springs Mayor Lloyd Haynes released the names of the West Virginia flooding victims Monday afternoon. A total of 23 people were killed during the flooding.
A teen, Mykala Phillips, of White Sulphur Springs is still missing. On Saturday, July 17, Phillips’ friends and family gathered at Villa Park in White Sulphur Springs to pray for peace for her family. Phillips, 14, was swept away in the flood waters that overtook White Sulphur Springs on June 23. She is the last unaccounted-for flood victim.
