The first annual Alderson Fall Festival on the Bridge is set for Saturday, Oct. 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Alderson Memorial Bridge Area. There will be straw bale and scarecrow competition, local food, shops open for business, the Farmer’s Market, kid’s activities, arts and crafts, an art car painting demo, and live music. There will also be a Great Art Exchange where visitors can trade and exchange unneeded original arts and crafts supplies with others.
