On Friday, Aug. 5, The Hub, at Lewisburg’s Montwell Park, will host an evening of karaoke and various activities to raise funds for Greenbrier & Nicholas County flood relief. The event starts at 5 p.m. with a cake walk, face painting, and soda ring toss. The cake walk features cakes and baked goods donated by Cakes & Cones, The Bakery, IGA, Sunset Berry Farm, Shoney’s, Edgarton Café, and Greenbrier Valley Baking Company.
Throughout the evening, door prizes will be given, including gift certificates to The Wild Bean, Hill & Holler, New World Alterations and more. The evening of family fun also includes a silent auction with items gifted from the State Fair of West Virginia, Edith’s Health Food Store, Country Roads Crossfit, Magic Mart, Patina Gifts, Lost World Caverns, AutoZone, The Asylum and the Quality Inn.
Food donations from Bellacino’s pizzaria and The Brier Patch Grill will be sold at The Hub’s Student Café to boost proceeds for flood relief and recovery. This event features free ping pong, foosball, and a karaoke contest from 7- 9 p.m. Other sponsors include ABB, Post Net, Montwell Park, and High Rocks Education Corporation.
For more information, call 304-647-3994 or visit The Hub Café on Facebook.
