She was the leader of a delegation of Buddhists from her country that comes to attend the annual teaching of Buddhist precepts and meditation practices at the temple complex in Dharamsala. On the first day of the teaching, during a break, Kirk had the opportunity to briefly talk with the Dalai Lama and tell him about his book \u201cNeuroscience,\u201d a topic of longstanding personal interested to the Dalai Lama. Having piqued his curiosity, Kirk received a promise for a personal audience. Two days after the conclusion of the teaching event, Kirk and Weisbrod received a phone call at 6:30 AM in their room to come to the Dalai Lama\u2019s residence for a private audience.\r\n\r\nOn Nov.14, Kirk and Weisbrod will share their stories and photo slides of their 17 day adventure, and their 20 minute private meeting with the Dalai Lama.
