Mark your calendars for Empty Bowls 2025, happening on Feb. 27. This beloved community event will be held at The Clingman Center in downtown Lewisburg, bringing together local restaurants and artists to support The United Way and their 32 Partner Agencies serving people in-need, within Greenbrier Valley.

Empty Bowls is a unique gathering that celebrates local flavors, craftsmanship, and the spirit of giving. Guests will enjoy a selection of gourmet soups, freshly baked breads, and beautifully handcrafted bowls. Gourmet soups will be provided by local restaurants, including: The Greenbrier, The French Goat, Gustard’s Bistro, The Livery Tavern and The Hub, to name a few. All proceeds from the event will benefit the United Way of Greenbrier Valley, helping to fund essential programs and services in the areas of education, health and basic needs, to improve the lives of individuals and families, within the Greenbrier Valley community.

“We are thrilled to host this wonderful event, again, this year and to see our community come together in support of the meaningful work that The United Way and our Partner Agencies perform,” said Lauren Rainier, executive director of The United Way of Greenbrier Valley. “This is more than just a meal. It’s an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the people that we serve, while enjoying the best of what our local restaurants and artists have to offer,” she adds.

Empty Bowls will be held on Thursday, Feb. 27, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at The Clingman Center in downtown Lewisburg. Tickets are $35 each and can be purchased online or at the door.

Included in the ticket price are two soup tastings, a bread roll, dessert, a ceramic bowl of your choice, and beverages. There will also be a cash bar and silent auction.

Everyone is invited for an evening of great food, community spirit, and artistic expression. Your participation will help provide crucial support to those in need, within the Greenbrier Valley.
