Elizabeth Baker Holland

White Sulphur Springs-Elizabeth Baker Holland, 100, passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019, at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.

She was born Aug. 19, 1918, in Sweet Springs, the daughter of the late Jessie B. and Rachel Bolt Baker.

Mrs. Holland was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church.

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank O. Holland; son, Delvin Curtis Holland; daughter, Cheryl Elizabeth Walter; sisters, Ruby Boone, Mildred Rutherford and Minnie Bolt; and her brother, Alfred Baker.

Surviving are her son, Frank “Ed” Holland of White Sulphur Springs; two daughters, Barbara Sue Anderson of Colonial Beach, VA and Jean Ann Otis of Winchester, VA; several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren and several great-great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Holland were held Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, White Sulphur Springs, where Pastor David Stilgenbauer officiated. Interment was in Mapledale Cemetery, White Sulphur Springs.

The family received their family and friends on Tuesday evening, Jan. 15, at the funeral home.
