Edna E. VanLuik

Roanoke, VA-Edna E. VanLuik, 99, formerly of Chesapeake, VA, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at South Roanoke Nursing Home, Roanoke, VA.

Edna was born in Princess Anne County, now Virginia Beach, to the late Edward L. and Bettie Eaton.

Edna was a long term resident of Chesapeake, VA and a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Chesapeake.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. VanLuik and her brother, Raymond L. Eaton.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra C. VanLuik of Lewisburg; and son and daughter-in-law, John and Linda R. VanLuik of Roanoke, VA.

The family would like to thank the staff of South Roanoke Nursing Home for the care she received.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Jan. 15, at the Oak Grove United Methodist Church, Chesapeake, VA with internment at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The service was conducted by Rev. H. Frank Holley.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to your favorite charity.

Oakey’s Funeral Home, Roanoke, VA is in charge of arrangements.
