Earl Lee Snedegar
Etowah, NC-Earl Lee Snedegar, 65, formerly of Alderson, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, at his home in Etowah, NC, following a long battle with cancer.
Born Feb. 5, 1949, at Cornstalk, he was the son of Harriet Snedegar-Dancy of Alderson and the late Glen L. Snedegar.
Mr. Snedegar attended Alderson Schools and was a 1967 graduate of Alderson High School. Following graduation, Mr. Snedegar made a 21-year career serving his country and retired from the United States Navy.
In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include: his wife, Kimberly Snedegar of Etowah, NC; son, John “J.P.” Snedegar of Alderson; brother, Carl “Sned” Snedegar of Alderson; and sister, Judy Pendry of Felton, DE.
Plans for a private memorial service will be held at a later date in North Carolina.
