Dwain C. Swann

Huntington-Dwain C. Swann 65, formerly of Lewisburg, went home to be with God Tuesday, Mar. 3, 2015.

Born May 14, 1949, in White Sulphur Springs, he is the son of Edna S. Brown of Lewisburg and the late James N. Swann, III

He is survived by: his mother, Edna S. Brown of Lewisburg; two daughters, Nikki “Ladybug” Swann of Huntington and Cammie Jackson of Miami, FL; two brothers, James Swann, IV of Roanoke, VA and Rick “Sam” Brown (Zina) of Lowmoor, VA; two sisters, Rhonda Gordon of Charlotte, NC and Dot Swann of Lewisburg; a special stepson, Bruce “Boo” France of Huntington; five grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; and special friend, Larry Baxter.

Funeral services were held Monday, Mar. 9, at John Wesley United Methodist Church where Pastors Greg Scott and Michael Adedokun officiated. Burial followed in Rosewood Cemetery.
