Haynes, Faulk & Bowyer 10-3-13
Dr. Harry Faulk (center) spoke to the White Sulphur Springs Rotary Club as they gathered for their regular meeting. Dr. Faulk is the Rotary 7550 District Governor for year 2013-14. Faulk explained the goals for area Rotarians and the importance of extending assistance to others world-wide. A main goal of Rotarians is still to eradicate polio world-wide. Only three very difficult areas remain to accomplish this very admirable goal and commitment, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Nigeria. Immediate Past President Lloyd Haynes (left) welcomed Mr. Faulk as he presented a banner of this year’s District theme, “Engage Rotary, Change Lives” to Club President Emory Bowyer (right). Faulk also noted that Rotary is open to new membership. Rotarians will explain Rotary to any interested persons. Dr. Faulk served as Executive Vice President of New River Community College in Lewisburg and is now moving from Beckley, WV to Huntington, WV to accept employment at another college.
