Donald Houston Gilkerson, 81, of Edmond passed away April 10, 1945 at his home.
He was born on Apr. 10, 1945 at Winona; he was the son of the late Joseph Alex Gilkerson and Erma Wilkerson Gilkerson.
Donald was a real outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, trapping, gardening and collecting arrowheads.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Nancy Jean Moses Gilkerson; daughter, Gerri Webster of N.C.; sons, Joseph (Elizabeth) Gilkerson of Edmond and Kent (Jennifer) Gilkerson of Alderson; sisters, Betty Green of S.C. and Carolyn Gilkerson of Hilltop; brother, Paul Gilkerson of Oak Hill; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; extended family and friends.
Graveside service will be held at a later date at Nuttall Cemetery.
