Dodge recently announced that the Greenbrier East Football Team will be their sole 2013 West Virginia partner for the Dodge Booster Club Program. As a recipient of the award, the East squad will partner with Greenbrier Motors in a test drive event scheduled for Saturday, July 27 at Greenbrier East High School. {{more}}

Since 1996, the Dodge brand has partnered with local high school booster clubs across the country to coordinate test drives for fundraising efforts with the launch of the Dodge Brand Booster Club Fundraiser.” Everyone in the community is invited to come out to test drive the 2013 Dodge Dart, Charger, Grand Caravan and Challenger, and for each test drive $20 will be donated to the East Football Team.

The fundraising effort is designed to provide support for student enrichment activities at the high school level. “Music, art, athletics and theater inspire and foster a passion for life and provide a creative outlet that benefits students,” said Ralph Gilles, president and CEO, Dodge Brand, Chrysler Group LLC. “The Dodge Booster Club Fundraiser gives high schools an opportunity to raise money for their extracurricular activities in a fun and unique way without any sales pressure. The Dodge brand and our dealers are committed to the communities where we do business and support organizations that encourage student development and growth.”

Anyone age 18 or over, with a valid driver’s license, may drive and earn a donation for Greenbrier East. The East event will be hosted from the high school from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a special driving route set up from the Middle School to High School.

For more information on the event, phone Peg Mankins at 304-667-4534 or visit www.gospartanfootball.com.
