The West Virginia Division of Culture and History (WVDCH) and the West Virginia Commission on the Arts are inviting nonprofit arts and history organizations to apply for funding through the Cultural Facilities and Capital Resources (CFCR) grant program. The deadline for applications is Dec. 1, 2016, for projects that will be completed between Feb. 1 and Sept. 30, 2017.
The CFCR grant program provides competitive funds for the renovation, construction and acquisition of real property, including alterations needed to comply with Section 504 of the 1974 Rehabilitation Act or the 1990 or 2010 Americans with Disabilities Act. Nonprofit arts and history organizations and agencies of county or municipal government including school boards are eligible to apply.
Postmark deadlines for the applications include Oct. 1 for letter of intent (encouraged but not required); Nov. 1 for draft review; and Dec. 1 for application. Successful applicants will be notified by Feb. 1, 2017.
For a complete list of guidelines, eligibility requirements and applications, visit our website at www.wvculture.org/arts/grants/culturalfacilities/FY17CFCRApp2nd.doc.
For more information, contact Debbie Haught, CFCR grant coordinator, at 304-558-0240, ext. 714, or debbie.r.haught@wv.gov.
