One more candidate has filed for election in Greenbrier County. According to the Secretary of State website, Jennifer Dent has filed to run for 11th Circuit Judge, Division 2.
Dent will run against Jeffrey S. Rodgers of Lewisburg and Fred Giggenbach of Charleston in a race for the seat left vacant by Circuit Judge James J. Rowe, who did not file for re-election this year.
Also, Louvonne Legg Arbuckle, a Democrat, is running unopposed for re-election as circuit clerk of Greenbrier County. Arbuckle lives in Lewisburg. In a previous article about the May 10 primary election, the Mountain Messenger omitted Arbuckle’s name. We regret the error.
