Denny Wallace Butner, 74, of Chimney Corner passed away on June 30, 2025, at Bowers Hospice House.
He was born on Aug. 11, 1950, at Justice, Mingo County, WV; he was the son of the late Samuel Bennett Butner and Emma Jeanette McVey Butner.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers.
Survivors include his daughter, Lisa McVey of Chimney Corner; son, Aaron Butner of Chimney Corner; sisters, Phyllis Pallister of Williamsburg, VA, and Connie Lawhun of Ruffin, NC; brothers, Arthur Butner of Lansing and Roger Keith Butner of Grayson, KY; three grandchildren, Nathan Fulks, Samuel Fulks and Theo Fulks.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 8, at Hendricks Cemetery.
