Ronceverte-Dennis Lee Pauley, 87, passed away Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020, at his home in Ronceverte.

Dennis was born Jan. 27, 1933, in Ronceverte, the son of the late Perry Webster and Lula May Morgan Pauley, Sr.

He was of the Baptist Faith, a member of American Legion Post #26 and a veteran of the Air Force. Dennis was a retired mail carrier with U. S. Postal Service in Maryland.

Other than his parents he was preceded in death by sisters, Elva Martin, Arlene Pauley and Ruby Taylor; and brother, Ted Pauley.

Dennis leaves behind his sisters, Winifred J. Pauley and Emily Holswade both of Ronceverte and Brenda Jacobsen of Paradise, AZ; brothers, James Pauley of Hillsboro, OH, Perry Pauley of Ronceverte and Edwin Pauley of Colorado; and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Dennis’ wishes there was a graveside service on Tuesday, Feb. 11, at the Massey-Pauley Cemetery in Ronceverte where Pastor Dale Elwell officiated. There was no visitation prior to the service.
