Ronceverte-Dearl Lee Brown, 82, passed away Monday, Nov. 30, 2015, at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.

Born Apr. 30, 1933, at Ronceverte, he was a son of the late John Harve and Dorothy Elizabeth Lawhorn Brown.
Dearl was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Ronceverte, was an Air Force veteran, and was retired from C & P Telephone.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: sons, John Cameron Brown and James Stewart Brown; four brothers, Thornton, Charles, John A. and Bob Brown; and three sisters, Anna May Brown, Nancy Kessinger and Katherine Jones.
He is survived by: his wife, Barbara “Joan” Bland Brown; son, Bob Brown and wife Judith of Frankford; daughter Lisa Carter and husband Donnie Yates of Frankford; two daughters-in-law, Sally Brown of Ronceverte and Edna Brown of Winchester, VA; grandchildren, Autumn Carter, Samantha Dunlap (Kevin), Jamie Brown, Scott Taylor (Emily) and Joshua “J.J.” Taylor; three great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Margaret Van Horn of Charleston, Tillie Price (Bill) of New Jersey and Joyce Clinebell of Roanoke, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg, with Pastor Dave Stilgenbauer officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Cemetery, Lewisburg.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers make memorial contributions to Trinity United Methodist Church, 707 Pocahontas Ave., Ronceverte, WV 24970.
