The funding from this grant will help to provide additional bows, equipment and replacement parts for residents participating in archery on Davis Stuart’s Lewisburg campus.

Davis Stuart, which serves all of West Virginia, operates as a private, nonprofit organization with the main campus located in Lewisburg and three community-based group homes in Bluefield, Maxwelton and Princeton.

Throughout all areas of its diverse programming, Davis Stuart seeks to equip West Virginia’s youth with the skill and desire to become healthy and productive citizens. Davis Stuart uses such activities as archery, to instill hope and motivation in its residents through small successes that build confidence and strengthen their interest in new and healthy hobbies.
