CYAC named Outstanding Child Advocacy Center

Child and Youth Advocacy Center, which serves Greenbrier, Monroe and Pocahontas Counties, was recently honored by the US Attorneys Office-Southern WV District as Outstanding Child Advocacy Center of the Year.

The CYAC is very grateful for this award by the Department of Justice and would like to thank all of our collaborating agencies in Greenbrier, Monroe and Pocahontas Counties for their work in putting an end to child abuse.

CYAC’s mission is to end child abuse in Greenbrier, Monroe and Pocahontas Counties of West Virginia by coordinating a multidisciplinary response to child maltreatment through utilizing a team approach to investigation, prosecution, treatment, and prevention.
