The Good Neighbors Community Clothes Closet in White Sulphur Springs is open and continues to offer free clean and gently used clothing for men, women and children; all displayed in an organized setting. Current inventory includes just about every size of summer (and some all season) dressy, casual and leisure wear. Lots of options to mix and match clothing to create great looking outfits.
Sponsored by the Emmanuel United Methodist Church, the GNCC is open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and the first Monday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Patrons are requested not to bring their own shopping bags as take-home bags will be provided. No items are returnable. While the clothing closet has a vast inventory of items at this time, no clothing donations are being accepted due to lack of storage. Please Note: NO donations are to be dropped off and left unattended at any entrance of the privately owned church building or adjoining community center property. The Good Neighbors Community Clothes Closet offers free clothing only and does not distribute household items, toys, etc.
The clothing bank is operated by volunteers and serves as an outreach program for the local and surrounding communities. Located on the basement level of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, the entrance to the closet area is by outside steps and is not handicap accessible. EUMC is located at 136 Hanna Lane (one block from the Main Street/Dry Creek Road intersection) in White Sulphur Springs.
