Clifford R. Sargent

Lewisburg-Clifford R. Sargent, 71, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015, at the Beckley VAMC Hospice Center in Beckley.
He was born Aug. 27, 1944, in Virden, IL, the son of the late George and Blanche Hicks Sargent.
Mr. Sargent was retired and a U.S. Army Veteran.
Surviving are: his son, William “Ike” Sargent and wife Nancy of Kimball, NE; daughter-in-law, Nancy O’Neal Sargent of Kimball, NE; step-grandsons, Kendall L. O’Neal of Texas and Ronald C. O’Neal and wife Kashia of Nebraska; and step-great-granddaughter Gracelynn Sue O’Neal,
Mr. Sargent has requested that he be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions should be made in his name to the Wounded Warrior Program, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
