Clara Lucille Tincher

Clara Lucille “Susie” Tincher, 78, of Fairlea, passed away on Apr. 19, 2025, at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV. She was born on Apr. 23, 1946, the daughter of William Walter and Connie Catherine Morgan Lawhorn. Susie was preceded in death by her husband, Ezra Edward Tincher, Sr., and her brother, Dewey Porterfield.

She is survived by her children Eddie Tincher (Kristen) and Debbie Ayers (Jeff), and her grandchildren E.T. Tincher, Josh Tincher, B.J. West, Chance West, Dalton Tincher, and Wade Tincher. Susie also left behind great-grandchildren Journey and Jax (expected), step-grandchildren Mason and Malia, and special friends Juanita Thomas, Thelma Pomroy, and Mary Brown, along with a host of extended family.

Additionally, she was affectionately known as MawMaw to many, including Derick “Biscuit” McCormick, Anthony Croy, Garrick Wynes, and Lucas Holliday.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Apr. 26, at 11 a.m. at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg. Visitation will be Friday, Apr. 25, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg, WV. The online guestbook is available at www.morganfh.net. Arrangements are entrusted to Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV.
