Trinity New Covenant Church

on Main Street in Rainelle will be selling hot dogs and baked goods at their Yard Sale Friday and Saturday, Sept. 29 and 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For additional information or local deliveries call 304-646-2096.

Frankford Presbyterian Church

will have a Pancake and Sausage Breakfast Saturday, Sept. 30, from 7 a.m. until the start of the Autumn Fest Parade. They will be serving buttermilk and buckwheat pancakes, sausage, sausage biscuits, as well as sausages and gravy. The price of the meal will be $5 for adults and $3 for children under six. Carry-out will be available.

New River Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

Service Sunday, Oct. 1, will start at 11 a.m. Visitors are welcome to attend. For further information call 304- 252-4016.

Henning Church of God

The Women of the Henning Church of God will have their semiannual Bean Dinner Monday, Oct. 2, starting at 6 p.m. in the church’s fellowship hall. The menu will consist of beans, meats, vegetables, salad, casseroles, breads, desserts, and drinks. The charge will be $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Trinity United Methodist Church

will hold a Basement & Bake Sale Saturday, Oct. 7 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The church is located at 373 Pocahontas Avenue in Ronceverte.

Pence Springs Community Church

will hold Fall Revival Services Oct. 1-4 at the church beginning at 7 p.m. each evening. Speaker: Robbie Merritt. Pastor Roger Persinger and the congregation invite everyone to attend.

LUMC to host Together Tuesdays

The Lewisburg United Methodist Church and the Lewisburg community have come together to create a new, midweek worship opportunity called “Together Tuesdays.” This casual worship opportunity will serve as an outreach to our community and will be held at Hill and Holler Restaurant every Tuesday from Oct. 3 to Nov. 14 from 6-7 p.m. It will be a family friendly worship service including food, fellowship, music, and an encouraging word to inspire your spiritual journey. Come enjoy this time together, fellowshipping outside the pew!

First Baptist Church of Fairlea Christmas Community Chorus

welcomes the public to celebrate Christmas in song. “Fantasia Noel” is a Christmas musical that will be presented Saturday, Dec. 16 at The Greenbrier’s Wedding Chapel at 8:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 17, at 7:30 p.m. at First Baptist Fairlea. A live orchestra will accompany the choir this year, featuring both local and regional musicians, under the direction of Jeff Bryant. “Fantasia Noel” promises to thrill participants and audience members alike with Christmas classics delivered with fresh style. Its message keeps us firmly grounded and anchored by the story of love, hope and redemption that is the heart of the Christmas story. NOEL – “a joyous shout celebrating the birth of Christ.” If you are interested in singing, please contact First Baptist Church office at 304-645-3533 to confirm participation. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. or leave a message for the church secretary after hours with contact information. The first rehearsal is Sunday, Oct. 8 from 5-6:15 p.m. in the church sanctuary. The choir will rehearse every Sunday evening until the cantata is presented. This experience is a joyous time of fellowship with singers from various churches and the local communities.

New growth group at Rhema Christian Center – The Daniel Plan

This six-session facilitator-led, small group Bible study is an innovative approach to achieving a healthy lifestyle that is dependent on five essentials: faith, food, fitness, focus, and friends. The Daniel Plan Study Guide gives individuals, small groups, and whole congregations the encouragement and accountability needed to succeed. Join Bill Krafft, Ryan and licensed fitness instructor Samantha Wilson, as they guide you through this six lesson study of God’s plan for a healthier you! The class will be held Wednesdays from 7-8:30 p.m., Oct. 18 through Nov. 29 (six weeks).

Griffith Creek Baptist Church

invites you to their Awana program each Wednesday night 6:30-8:30 p.m. September through May for children 3-18 years of age. Food, fun and classes for everyone. Adult Bible Study 6:45 p.m. – ? Greenbrier Valley Aglow Lighthouse

have resumed their monthly meetings the third Monday of each month at Living Waters Family Worship Center on Montvue Drive (formerly Calvary Baptist) in Lewisburg at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to a night of teaching and refreshments. For more information, call 304-445-7742.
