Ronceverte Christian Church will have a steak dinner and bake sale Saturday, Oct. 26, from 3:30-6:30 p.m. The cost will be $8 for adults, $4 for children and $8 for all carry-out and delivery orders. All proceeds will go toward youth group activities. The menu will consist of: country steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, cooked apples, coleslaw, homemade rolls, assorted homemade desserts and beverages. For free delivery in the Ronceverte/Fairlea/Lewisburg area, call 304-647-4465. Beverages are not included in the carry out and delivery orders. The church is located at 240 Gypsy Heights Road, first right down Ronceverte Hill on Route 219 South.

Emmanuel United Methodist Church
will sponsor a Harvest Party Sunday, Oct. 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Asbury Community Building. Pumpkin carving, games and food – costumes welcome.

New River Unitarian Universalist Fellowship service Sunday, Oct. 27 will begin at 11 am. Visitors are welcome to attend. The Fellowship is located at 911 South Kanawha Street, Beckley. For further information call 304-252-4016.

Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church
will host a memorial service Sunday, Nov. 10, with the placing of flags on veterans’ graves, lighting of luminaries around the graveyard at 5 p.m., and taps at 6 p.m. An indoor service will follow immediately. All are invited. Those who have loved ones buried in Bethel Cemetery are given a special invitation to attend and take part in the lighting ceremony and indoor service. The church is located on Hokes Mill Road, Organ Cave.

Greenbrier Valley Aglow Community Lighthouse holds monthly meetings the third Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Fairfield Inn in Lewisburg. Aglow International is an inter-denominational group of women and men whose vision is to carry the truth of the kingdom that restores people to a radiant place of relationship with God and one another.
