Lewisburg United Methodist Church

will offer Creative Camp June 13-16, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon daily. Register today. Registration fee: one pack of water. New River Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

service Sunday, May 15, will begin at 11 a.m. Visitors are welcome. The fellowship is located at 911 South Kanawha Street, Beckley.

Interfaith Fellowship meeting

The Lewisburg Interfaith Fellowship, an inclusive spiritual community, will meet Saturday, May 14, at 4 p.m. at 318 Washington Street, Suite-B, (across from the south entrance to the Public Library). The group meets to share spiritual practices and experiences for a greater understanding and acceptance of each other and to celebrate their diversity. This week’s presentation will be based on the book “Class of 65 – A student, A Divided Town, and the Long Road to Forgiveness” by Jim Auchmutey, and will be presented by the student featured in the book, Greg Wittkamper. Wittkamper will bring copies of the book and will be happy to autograph one for you. If you already have one, bring it along for an autograph. There will be a discussion after the presentation.

Woodland Community Church meeting

The annual Community Meeting of the Woodland Community Church in Auto will be held Sunday, May 15, immediately following morning service. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Ronceverte Presbyterian Church

Pizza Hut, Sunset Berry Farm and the Ronceverte Presbyterian Church invite families and individuals to join them May 19 (every third Thursday) from 5 to 7 p.m. for a Free Hot Meal & Fellowship at the Ronceverte Presbyterian Church. Community Pentecostal Holiness Church

on Brush Road in Lewisburg will have Revival Services May 19, 20 and 21 beginning at 7 p.m. nightly. Rev. Donald Harding from Wise, VA, will be the guest speaker. Pastor Everette Defibaugh and the congregation invite everyone to these Revival Services.

Blue Ray of Hope

Rhema Christian Center

announces their sponsorship of the federally funded Summer Food Service Program. Breakfast and lunch are open to all children, ages 18 years and under, who would like to participate. Meals will be served at Kingdom Kids Childhood Development Center at Rhema Christian Center, 3584 Davis Stuart Road, Lewisburg. From June 8-Aug. 19, breakfast will be served from 8-9 a.m. Monday-Friday; lunch from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday-Friday. Celebrate Recovery at Rhema

If you struggle with a hurt habit or hang up or any similar controlling problem or issue and would Iike to sort through your issues with Iike others in a Christ-centered environment you are welcome to attend our weekly meeting. Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered 12-step meeting that incorporates the 12 steps and the 8 Beatitudes in the Bible and scripture and prayer to assist people with the healing process. Unlike most secular programs the issues people present are varied and not necessarily the same problem or struggle, so no one is excluded. Our meetings are on Thursday nights – from 6 to 6:30 p.m. is the meet and greet; 6:30 to 7:30 is the open meeting; and 7:30 to 8:30 is gender specific small groups. The meetings take place at the Rhema Christian Church on Davis Stewart Road in Fairlea. We hope you check us out as many of our participants have grown tremendously in their faith and healed from a lot of their past hurt and pain.

Griffith Creek Baptist Church

invites you to their Awana program each Wednesday night 6:30-8:30 p.m. September through May for children 3-18 years of age. Food, fun and classes for everyone. Adult Bible Study 6:45 p.m. – ?
