Tilapia Dinners return April 22 & 29

The Greenbrier Valley Council 8689 Knights of Columbus will serve “tilapia walk-in to-go” dinners on Apr. 22, and 29 in Butler Hall of St. Thomas Episcopal Church on West Main Street in White Sulphur Springs.  

The tilapia dinners are served 4:30 to 7 p.m. and can be “take-outs” by stopping in front of Butler Hall or walk-ins who have the option of sitting at the few tables available and dining with friends, but with no table service. Dinners are served for $13 or 2/$25 and include tilapia, scalloped potatoes or macaroni and cheese (depending on availability from wholesalers), coleslaw, sauces, hard roll, bottled water, and dessert, along with utensils. The House of Prayer Church

is hosting a Community Easter Egg Hunt and games on Saturday, Apr. 16, at Brad Paisley Park in White Sulphur Springs from 1 to 3 p.m. The Easter Bunny will be attending! All are welcome.

First Baptist Church in Rainelle

Youth Group will perform an Easter presentation at the corner of 8th and Main Street in Rainelle Saturday, Apr. 16 at 12 noon.

Lewisburg Baptist Church to hold Community Easter Festival

Lewisburg Baptist Church’s Community Easter Festival will take place Saturday, Apr. 16, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lewisburg Baptist Church. The Festival is a benefit for the church’s children’s ministry.

Lewisburg Baptist Church’s Community Easter festival will host over 15 vendors from the community, offer concessions and snacks as well as carnival games, Easter egg hunts, giant inflatables and an outdoor gospel sing. There will also be a photographer offering discounted family photos. Unlimited use of the inflatables and carnival games will be $5 per person. There is no cost to attend the event. It is a great opportunity for family and friends to spend the day together! Contact is Chad Harris, 304-646-4710.

Henning Church of God 

to Host Egg Hunt and Sunrise Service. Henning Church of God is excited about celebrating Easter this year. We would love to have you celebrate Easter with us. We will have an Easter egg hunt from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Apr. 16. On Easter Sunday, Apr. 17, at 6:45 a.m., we will have a sunrise service followed by breakfast. Sunday School will be at 10 a.m. followed by Easter service at 11 a.m. with special singing and an Easter sermon. The church is located in Frankford on Vago Road. Pence Spring Revival Services 

will be held May 1 through May 4 every evening at 7 p.m. at the Pence Springs Community Church. The speaker will be Pastor Robbie Merritt. Pastor Roger Persinger and the congregation invite everyone to attend.
