Trinity United Methodist Church

The Brier Rehab and Nursing Center Auxiliary Board/Support Group will serve their famous SPAGHETTI DINNER with all the fixings Friday, Oct. 17 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church on the Corner of Locust Street and Pocahontas Avenue in Ronceverte. They will be serving spaghetti, with a choice of sauces, a salad, bread and a dessert. The cost is a donation of your choice. Take-out will also be available. There will also be a Silent Auction. All proceeds will be used for the Resident Fund. For more information contact the Activity Department at the Brier at 304-645-7270.

 

Bethal Pentecostal Holiness Church

will hold REVIVAL SERVICES at 7 p.m. each evening from Monday, Oct. 13, through Saturday, Oct. 18. The speaker Monday night will be Rev. Wesley Comer, pastor of the church. Rev. Anthony Carter, from the River of Life Church of God in Alderson, will be speaking Tuesday through Saturday. The congregation and Pastor Wesley Comer welcome all to come and worship with us each evening. The church is located on Hokes Mill Road, Organ Cave.

 

St. James Episcopal Church

will hold a FALL YARD SALE Thursday, Friday and Saturday (Oct. 16-18) from 8 a.m. until noon each day. The church is located at 218 Court Street.

 

New River Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

service Sunday, Oct. 19 will begin at 11 am. Visitors are welcome to attend. The Fellowship is located at 911 South Kanawha Street, Beckley.

 

Greenbrier Valley Aglow Community Lighthouse

will hold its monthly meeting the third Monday of the month in Lewisburg. The public is invited to the next meeting on Monday, Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. at the Fairfield Inn. Our guest speaker will be Alan Patterson, a licensed minister, the former Pastor at Appalachian Harvest House in Alderson and a former student with Morning Star Ministries. Alan has led several cell groups as well as The Cleansing Streams series. He resides in Alderson with his wife Ruth and daughter Hannah. Aglow International is an Inter-denominational group of women and men whose vision is to carry the truth of the kingdom that restores people to a radiant place of relationship with God and one another.
