Singers invited to join Community Christmas Cantata
Once again, the First Baptist Church of Fairlea welcomes the public to celebrate Christmas in song with a presentation of It’s Christmas Time Again, also performed in 2018. The annual Community Christmas Cantata, under the direction of Jeff Bryant, will be presented Dec. 18 at 8:30 p.m. in the Chapel at The Greenbrier, and Dec. 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary of First Baptist. A live orchestra will accompany the choir, featuring both local and regional musicians. Rehearsals (utilizing health safety precautions) will begin for interested singers on Sunday, Oct. 31, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at First Baptist and will continue weekly on Sundays until the dates of performance.
