will hold a Hot Dog & Bake Sale will be held at the church on Saturday, June 6 from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. in Rupert on Anjean Road beside the Fire House. Hot dogs and fried apple pies $1.50 and others as marked. This year we are starting loaded nachos and popcorn.

will offer Creative Camp for any child age 4/rising pre-K to rising 6th graders! Lewisburg United Methodist Church, June 15-18, 9 a.m. – 12 noon. Vacation Bible School leaders at Ronceverte Baptist Church are getting ready for the coolest week of the summer! “Everest – Conquering Challenges with God’s Mighty Power,” is filled with incredible Bible learning experiences kids can see, hear and touch. The kids will also discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life – something we call “God Sightings.” VBS will be Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. There will be classes for preschool through middle school and for adults. Edgewood Presbyterian Church
This year’s Vacation Bible School with the theme, “Christian Olympics,” is scheduled for Friday, June 26. One full day, rather than one full week of evenings, will provide children an opportunity to attend a structured mini Olympic-like Bible camp. The day will be filled with learning, food, crafts, exercise, and fun. Children may be dropped off at the church between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m., where they will be provided a breakfast of pancakes and sausage. Various stations, each with a unique activity and country, will be visited by children throughout the day. The children will be re-energized with a time out at noon for hot dogs, and will begin the Christian Olympics at 2:30. After a fun-filled jam-packed day, the event will conclude at 4:30, with additional activities taking place until final pick-up at 5:30. First aid will be provided by Greenbrier County Emergency Ambulance. Advanced registration is required to ensure adequate supplies and food are provided. Edgewood Presbyterian Church is located at 162 Harper Road in Lewisburg. Travel approximately 1.5 miles on Brush Road and turn right onto Harper Road.
