Trinity Methodist Church Christmas

Trinity Methodist Church in Ronceverte will hold its 4th annual Christmas Extravaganza Saturday, Dec. 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. In addition to arts and crafts, baked goods, home made jams and salsas, white elephant items, Christmas decorations and cookie trays will be sold. A lunch of soup, sandwich, chips and a drink will be available for $6. Trinity is located at the corner of Pocahontas Avenue and Walnut Street and is a handicapped accessible building.

 

Pence Springs Community Church

will present its Annual Christmas play Sunday, Dec. 14 at 7 p.m. This year’s title is “Believe in the Miracles of Christmas.” Pastor Roger Persinger and the congregation invite everyone to attend.

 

Meadow Grove Baptist Church

Jonathan Buckner and Chosen Road will perform southern gospel music at the Meadow Grove Baptist Church Sunday, Dec. 14 at 11 a.m. The church is located on Dawson-Springdale Road in Dawson. For more information, please contact Pastor Vince Deeds at 304-382-7370.

 

Ronceverte Baptist Church

Choir will present their annual Christmas musical Sunday, Dec. 14 at 11 a.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. This year’s musical entitled Glory in the Highest was created by Gary Rhodes and Claire Cloninger. In addition to some great original songs written for this musical, there are some powerful songs of worship with “A New Hallelujah,” “Knees to the Earth,” “Jesus Messiah,” “Glorious Day” and “Glory to God in the Highest.” Ronceverte Baptist Church is located at the corner of Main and Locust Streets.

 

VFW Children’s Christmas Party

VFW John Page Post 4484 and the Ladies Auxiliary will hold its annual Children’s Christmas Party, Saturday, Dec. 20, from 12 noon to 3 p.m., at the Post Home, 401 Main Street, Rainelle. All children, infant to 10 years, are invited to come by and visit with Santa and his helpers, have story time with Mrs. Claus, and make an ornament to take home and place on the Family Christmas tree.
