Child and Youth Advocacy Center (CYAC) will be selling chances for a “Grab Bag Giveaway.” Several local merchants have donated wonderful items to use as a fundraiser for the nonprofit organization. These items include: one ratchet set or hydraulic jack from Advance Auto, two 1-month memberships to Crossfit Espirit, one free month at Country Roads Crossfit, one auto detail from Allegheny Motors, six session tanning package at Sunny Delite, $30 gift certificate at Tina’s Salon, and one gutter cleaning by Todd Winebrenner. Price is $1 per chance or $5 for 6 chances. Drawing will be held on Monday, Aug. 3. The first name drawn will get to choose between two items listed above. Each name drawn thereafter will get their choice of one item from what is left until all prizes are given out.

Tickets will be on sale at Corner Market Exxon in Ronceverte as well as at the CYAC office on Washington Street in downtown Lewisburg. For more information or to purchase chances, call 304-645-4668 or email cyac@suddenlinkmail.com. The CYAC would like to thank all of the business that donated, Katie Sutherland for her work on organizing the fundraiser and Don Wise.

CYAC’s mission is to end child abuse in Greenbrier, Monroe, and Pocahontas Counties of West Virginia by coordinating a multidisciplinary response to child maltreatment through utilizing a team approach to investigation, prosecution, treatment, and prevention.
