Charles Lee Cutlip

Lewisburg-Charles Lee Cutlip, 60, passed away Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014, at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

He was born Apr. 15, 1954, at Rupert, a son of the late William Kessler and Julia Beatrice Armstrong Cutlip.

Mr. Cutlip was of the Baptist faith and was a coal miner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Cutlip.

He is survived by: his wife, Sandra Lee Massie Cutlip; two sons, Christopher Cutlip and companion Anjali Hyndman of Ronceverte and Chad Cutlip of Lewisburg; two sisters, Lisa (Willie) Dennison of Rupert and Teresa (Chris) Hopkins of Pendleton, SC; brother, Glen Cutlip of Rupert; aunt, Betty Wright of Corliss, WV; nephew, William Lee Dennison of Rupert; and brother-in-law, Roy “Pookie” Massie, Jr. and wife Phyllis of Ronceverte.

Graveside services was held on Thursday, Oct. 2 at Riverview Cemetery in Ronceverte, where Pastor Glen Kuhn officiated.

The family received friends Wednesday evening, Oct. 1, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg.

In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to a charity of your choice or to the Cutlip family.
