Charles Bruce Alderman, 74, of White Sulphur Springs passed away the morning of Mar. 18, 2025, at the White Sulphur Springs Center.
He was born Apr. 14, 1950 in White Sulphur Springs, the son of the late Charles G. and Vivian Hicks Alderman.
Bruce was a graduate of White Sulphur Springs High School; he did his pre-pharmacy work at Marshall University and graduated of the West Virginia University School of Pharmacy. He was of the Methodist faith, former member of the White Sulphur Springs Lions Club and the White Sulphur Springs Rotary. Bruce was the owner of Alderman’s Pharmacy. His passion was WVU Football and he was an avid golfer. He was on the Board of Directors of Valley View Country Club.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Barbara Dolin Holland.
Bruce is survived by his wife Debbie Dolin Alderman; brother Clayton H. Alderman (Denise), Clayton and Denise’s children, Charles Alderman and Faith Meehan (Mark) and their child Noah, all of Baltimore, MD; in-laws, Dee Dolin, Nancy Kaptis, Judy Yates and Mary Przygoda; too many nieces and nephews to list individually; and special caregivers, Frances, Lisa and Mary.
A memorial service for Bruce will be Saturday Mar. 22, from 3 until 4: p.m. at the Alvon Living Word Church, 9402 Pocahontas Trail, White Sulphur Springs with Pastor Bobby McClintic, Pastor Buck Caldwell and Pastor Stewart Farley officiating.
The family will receive family and friends beginning at 2 p.m. at the church on Saturday, Mar. 22.
