Celebration of Life and Rebirth set for June 23-25 in White Sulphur Springs

The City of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia along with the “Celebration of Life and Rebirth” Committee is pleased to announce the Schedule of Activities Commemorating the devastating Flood of 2016.

Friday, June 23

3 p.m.                  Old Mill Park

Dedication of the 2016 Flood Memorial

Memorial service

Reading of the names of those who perished

4 p.m.                  Ribbon Cutting for Nicely Park

Music by Greenbrier East Choir

4:30 p.m.            Ribbon Cutting for the Brad Paisley Community Park with Community Picnic with food provided by 50 East

Restaurant – Bring your chair or blanket

5-9 p.m.               Music by “Under the Gun” Brad Paisley Park

9 p.m. until 8 a.m. – St. Charles Barromo Catholic Church will be open to all for Prayer and Meditation.

Saturday, June 24

8 a.m.-2 p.m.      Free Golf Outing for the residents of Caldwell and White

Sulphur Springs Valley View Golf Course

10 a.m.-2 p.m.   Open House – Fish Hatchery

10:30 a.m.-2 p.m.   Family Day Old White Motors Parking lot, Main Street

Art Therapy, Service Dogs, Face Painting, Counseling, Fire
