Celebrate the holidays in downtown Lewisburg at First Friday

Downtown Lewisburg celebrates the holidays on First Fridays After Five on Friday, Dec. 3 from 5 to 8 p.m.! Join the fun with free horse drawn carriage rides, holiday treats, craft projects, specials, live music, drawings and prizes, artist receptions and complimentary tastings throughout town – all free to the public. Everyone is welcome! 

The Shops & Restaurants of Downtown Lewisburg and City National Bank are excited to offer free horse drawn carriage rides from 5 to 8 p.m. along festive Main Street, filled with holiday lights & decorations. Catch your ride at the city Greenspace and enjoy!

The Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center is pleased to announce December’s Art in the Valley show which will feature young artists from Greenbrier East and Greenbrier West High Schools and Eastern Greenbrier and Western Greenbrier Middle Schools. Their show titled “The Gifts of our Talents” will showcase a wide variety of artistic student creations from around Greenbrier County. A video presentation will also be shown throughout the evening and will feature additional student art accompanied by musicians from the schools represented. Don’t miss the “mini” quilt sale in the Art Alcove featuring holiday creations by the Alderson Quilters and Crafters. Greenbrier Valley Theatre announces the opening of a brand new musical review “Christmas Time is Here” on Dec. 3. This show runs through Dec. 18.
