White Sulphur Springs -Carry Leonard Shrewsbury, 65, passed away Friday, Sept. 13, 2019, at his home.

Born Oct. 19, 1953, at Fort Monmouth, NJ, he was the son of the late Everette Lee and Mary Elizabeth Falls Shrewsbury.

Mr. Shrewsbury worked most of his life as an Electrician. He was a former Shriner and Mason. He previously served on the White Sulphur Springs Zoning Board.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by son, Ronald Lewis Shrewsbury; and two brothers, Terry Lee and Conard Lyle Shrewsbury.

Survivors include his wife, Vera Louise Westfall; stepmother, Pamela Shrewsbury; sons, Andrew and Daniel Shrewsbury (Amber LaRue) of White Sulphur Springs, Michael Lee Shrewsbury and Carry “Montie” Shrewsbury both of Mt. Sterling, KY; daughter, Alana Shrewsbury of White Sulphur Springs; grandson, Donald Blake Westfall-Shrewsbury; sisters, Cynthia Johnston (Robert) of Page, Carman Rose of Ansted, Kristina Shrewsbury of Fayetteville, and Jennifer Shrewsbury of Jacksonville, NC; sister-in-law, Keata Lynn Shrewsbury; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service was held on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, Lewisburg. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Morgan Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
