Carnegie Hall is pleased to announce that Angus Peyton will be honored at the Fantasy in Rubies & Rhododendrons, as the popular annual fundraiser returns. The event will take place Friday, Sept. 1, at 6:30 p.m. on the Colonial Terrace at The Greenbrier. Tickets are $195 per person, and tables of 10 are available for $1,950.
Angus Peyton is a local philanthropist and donor advisor for the James F.B. Peyton Fund, a Special Initiative at The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation. His heart has always been in Greenbrier County, and he has family ties to the community dating tothe 1930’s. Since he was eight years old Angus has wanted to make Greenbrier Valley his permanent home. He made that dream come true in 2017 when he retired from Smith Barney as a Financial Advisor and moved from Charleston, WV to Lewisburg.
Carnegie Hall Development Director Sally Bray noted that Carnegie Hall owes a “special thanks to Angus for being a part of our community, for always lending a helping hand, and for supporting Carnegie Hall’s vision of Bringing the Arts to Life!”
Fantasy Gala guests will enjoy a strolling dinner, a complimentary drink, a cash bar, live entertainment by Irresistible Groove, and live and silsent auctions.
