Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg will present its annual January Jazz concert on Friday, Jan. 16 at 7 p.m., featuring the Bob Thompson Unit with special guest vocalist Lena Seikaly.
Widely recognized as one of the leading jazz voices in the Mid Atlantic region, Seikaly has earned national attention for her rich tone, expressive phrasing, and deep connection to the Great American Songbook. A Washington, DC native, she has performed at major festivals and venues across the United States and abroad, sharing the stage with celebrated jazz artists and earning praise for her ability to blend classic jazz traditions with a modern, soulful style. Her recordings have been featured on radio stations nationwide, showcasing a voice that brings both technical mastery and emotional warmth to every performance.
January Jazz pairs Seikaly with West Virginia pianist and composer Bob Thompson, whose lyrical, soulful playing has made him a longtime favorite of Carnegie Hall audiences. Together, they promise an evening of vibrant, heartfelt music.
