Bluebell Garden Club holds Christmas Luncheon

The Bluebell Garden Club celebrated another year of hard work and fellowship in December at their annual Christmas Luncheon at The French Goat. Special recognition and appreciation went to Heather Lockard Wheeler, Brenda Spencer, Linda Spencer and Rhonda Harper – thanks to them, the Bluebell Garden Club is the recipient of a $2,000 National Garden Clubs’ Plant America Grant. Their application was chosen out of 120 submissions and the funds are slated for improvements to the landscaping in the Lewisburg Triangle and the Caldwell and Brant plots in the Old Stone Cemetery. These two community gardens are enjoyed year-round by residents and visitors alike.
