Renick-Carl Clark Grizzel, 66, went to be with the Lord Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019, after a short illness in Jacksonville FL.

Clark, as most people knew him, was born in Ieager, WV, and was the youngest of 10 children.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Ransom Grizzel; mother, Ossie Blankenship Grizzel; and four brothers, Joe Barnett Grizzel (Corrine), William Henry Grizzel, James “Jim” Ervin Grizzel (Dorothy) and Dewey Ray Grizzel “Big Ray.”

He leaves behind his wife of 17 years, Tina Garrison Grizzel and his loyal dog, Mocha; his beloved former wife, Donna Poe Windon of Lewisburg and their three daughters, Stephanie Grizzel-Moody (husband Justin) and children, Andrew and Abigail of Beckley, Samantha Hall (husband David) and children, David Elisha, Ossie and Josiah of Alderson and Michelle Defibaugh (husband Christopher) and daughter Lillian of Alderson. He leaves behind three brothers, Eugene Lemon Grizzel (Mary Ann), Hobby Tony “HT” Grizzel, Paul Ezra Grizzel; and two sisters, Mildred Pauline Sopkovich (Timothy) and Wilma Jean Collins (Harold); a dearly loved nephew, Dewey Ray “Little Ray” Grizzel (Irene) and many more nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held Tuesday, Dec. 3, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, Lewisburg, where Pastor Emory Hanna officiated. Burial followed in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Germany Road, Renick.

Visitation was Monday evening, Dec. 2, at the funeral home.
